ZOS Communications, LLC™ (ZOS™) is an early stage company that has designed a product, zhiing by ZOS, that will define the Location Based Services marketplace (LBS). The exhausting multi-step process of looking up where you want to go, keying in the starting and ending address data, and then printing internet maps and directions — or relying on verbal instructions — will be a thing of the past. Also, the cumbersome process of joining a mobile social network to simply find where you want to go or connect with your friends will disappear.

The ZOS team is led by founding entrepreneurs Jon Ziskind, Russ Ziskind and Alan Field. They're supported by a team of engineers, developers and marketing staff who share the vision of integrating voice, data, text and location information to suit the changing needs of the wireless consumer and companies that serve them.

Our company has developed a utility that makes the complex and time-consuming transfer of location data from source to recipient accurate and easy. Our product, zhiing, makes finding the way from place to place as simple as pushing a button. ZOS is positioning itself to become the market leader by taking advantage of the evolving global trend of using mobile phones as navigation tools.

Clicking our zhiing button, either on a mobile device or a computer, opens a dialogue box. Simply input the mobile number of the handset that will be used for navigation. A SMS text arrives, then opens the navigation software and inserts the geo-coded location data. This allows the user to easily navigate to the place or person they are trying to find.

Our goal is to have zhiing become the utility platform of the LBS marketplace. Third-party enterprises offering location-based products and services can utilize our platform to reach and engage with customers and consumers based their exact location.

ZOS works privately with corporations on a variety of levels to deploy our technology in ways that lend value to customer relationships and productivity to distributed enterprise communications.

zhiing is designed to be a cross-platform and non-device-specific utility that will function internationally. zhiing is not to be confused with closed networks or device-specific membership-only services. Like email, it is designed to be an open global market utility.
